nanoTek Fabric Laser Cutting Machine
nanoTek Fabric Laser Cutting Machine

Z-Galva

The first of its kind in the industry, Z Galva has a laser head that can move up or down to accommodate a greater variety of applications than any other in the history of standalone galvanometric laser machines.

In addition to its unique Z-axis movement, the machine is designed to integrate multiple tasks. A variety of attachments are available that provide the ability to create a diversity of unique embellishments on garments.

The machine features an advanced frame design that allows the galvanometric scan head to hover freely over the work area with the ability to rise or drop to accommodate various heights and objects. Meanwhile, attachments can be switched out from the center area of the machine depending on the application.

What it can cut depends on the laser wattage, but it can be used for a wide range of textiles including embroidery appliqué and certain rigid material such as plastics. With higher wattages, it can cut leather and other tough materials, as well as, mark wood and synthetics other hard substrates.

Attachments

    • Flat Bed (comes with the machine) Measuring 60 cm x 60 cm (24” x 24″), the standard bed provides a straight-forward use of the machine’s cutting and engraving capabilities for many articles in soft and hard goods.
    • Tubular Frame Attachment (optional) This permits the integration of embroidery machine hoops into the cutting and marking processes making hard appliqués jobs easy to produce quickly and profitably. It works with any brand of embroidery machine hoop.
    • Double Station Shuttle Bed (optional) This is perfect for high-volume production and short runs. It can double the machine’s output. While half the bed is under the laser, the other half is being unloaded and loaded with blank product.
    • Double Station Shuttle bed with Tubular Attachment (optional) This is perfect for integrating multiple embroidery machine hoops and increasing production.
    • Plotter Multistation Border Frame (optional) This brand-new attachment is the result of Proel’s engineering innovation and its relentless pursuit to increase production and offer improved solutions. It permits the super-fast galva process to be used in almost the same manner as a conventional laser machine thus allowing the use of a galva laser over large areas and an extended, moveable bed in X and Y directions.
    • Continuous Border Frame (optional) This is used for extended-length projects such as full-size dresses, jeans, tablecloths, blankets, banners, flags, and decorative home products.
    • Screen Printing Carousel Integration (optional) This is another engineering marvel from Proel to allow for new, more enhanced multimedia work. Using the Z Galva’s ability to move the head up and down, this unit will allow the platen from an automatic screen printing press to be moved into proper position underneath the laser head.

The laser will cut the substrate without any delay or interference as part of the normal carousel rotation of the screen printing press. With Galva speed, this process takes place in a matter of seconds. When finished, typically within the same amount of time it takes a screen printing squeegee to move in and out over a screen at a neighboring station, the platen then swings out of the way and move to its next station. The synchronization process is similar to that of a flash cure unit.

The Z Galva can be equipped with any or all of the above optional attachments to open up new markets and to offer faster alternatives to current jobs.
